Associate Items to Types
The Associate Items to Types page allows you to associate inspection items to the appropriate inspection types, allowing you to define the content of an inspection type. For more information on creating an inspection item, see Inspection Items.
To associate an item to an inspection type:

Open the Administration Menu page.

Under the INSPECTION ADMIN heading, click Associate Items to Types.

In the Inspection Class field, select an inspection class.

In the Inspection Type field, select an inspection type.
All existing inspection items associated with the selected inspection class and type are displayed.

To add an inspection item to the list, select one or more items from the Add Inspection Item list box and click ADD.
The added inspection items are displayed in the yellow pane. By default, newly added items are all marked active.

To define the tab order, enter numeric values in the Tab Order fields.
The Tab Order indicates the position, in menus, where this value will be listed. Lower numbered values are displayed toward the top of the list. Values will the same tab order will be sorted alphabetically.

To inactivate an item, click the Change to Inactive link to the right of an item.
Inactivating an item removes it from the inspection but allows it to remain associated with the inspection class and inspection type.

To remove an item from a list click DELETE.
Deleting an item from an inspection type removes the association between the item and type. For more information on deleting an inspection item, see Inspection Items.

Once all the required changes have been made to the inspection item list, click UPDATE to save the changes.
